Appointment booking for Karachi clinics
In Karachi a patient may spend an hour getting to you, and a medical centre may host a different consultant every evening. Showup keeps each consultant’s timings straight, lets patients book from a link at any hour, and reminds them on WhatsApp before they set out.
Where Karachi clinics lose appointments
Long journeys, late cancellations
A patient coming from Gulshan to Clifton, or from North Nazimabad to Saddar, decides on the day whether the trip is worth it. If no one asked them the day before, the clinic finds out when the slot is already gone.
Visiting consultants on fixed days
Many medical centres have consultants who sit on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, or from seven to nine. Reception has to remember who is in when, and patients call to ask.
The phone is busy during clinic hours
When the waiting area is full, nobody can answer calls, so the patients trying to book for tomorrow cannot get through.
How it works for a Karachi clinic
- 01
One schedule per consultant
Give each consultant their own days and hours. The booking page offers Dr. A only on her clinic days, and blocks the weeks she is away.
- 02
Bookings that do not need the phone
Patients book from the link in the evening or at night, when your line is closed. Reception sees the new appointment on the schedule in the morning.
- 03
Reminder timing you choose
Reminders go 24 hours before by default. A clinic whose patients travel far can send them earlier, up to 72 hours ahead.
From sign-up to a full schedule in four steps
- 01
Set up your clinic
Add your practitioners, their weekly hours and breaks, time off, and your services with how long each takes.
- 02
Share your booking link
Patients open it on their phone, choose a service, a practitioner or anyone available, and a free time. No app, no account.
- 03
Patients get WhatsApp messages
A confirmation when they book, then a reminder before the visit in English or Urdu. They reply 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel.
- 04
Reception runs the day
A schedule with a column per practitioner, phone bookings and walk-ins, seen and no-show in one tap, and a recall list for patients due back.

Karachi: common questions
01We have consultants who only visit on certain days. Can each have their own timings?
Yes. Every practitioner has weekly working hours, with breaks, set day by day, plus time off. The booking page only offers a consultant on the days and hours they actually sit.
02We have two branches in Karachi. Can one account cover both?
Not yet: several branches under one clinic account is not built. Today each branch is set up as its own clinic, with its own booking link, schedule and staff.
03How do we pay, and is it in rupees?
Yes, Rs 2,500 a month for the whole clinic after a 14-day free trial. You pay by bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa, and nothing is charged automatically.
