Appointment booking for psychologists and therapists
Many clients find it easier to book a session from a link than to phone a stranger. Showup lets them do that, sends a short, neutral WhatsApp reminder before each session, and stores no clinical notes at all.
What matters in a therapy practice
Calling to book is a barrier
For someone already anxious, phoning a clinic and explaining why is the hardest step. Many put it off for weeks.
A missed session is a lost hour
Sessions are long and booked well ahead. A client who does not come leaves a 50-minute gap that cannot be filled at short notice.
Messages must be discreet
A reminder may be read by someone else in the family. It should say when the appointment is, and nothing about why.
How therapists use Showup
- 01
Book without a phone call
Clients choose a free time from your link, with no account. They get a private link to see, confirm or cancel their session.
- 02
Neutral reminders
The reminder names the clinic, the time and the practitioner, nothing else. Name your services neutrally, such as “Session”, since the confirmation includes the service.
- 03
Nothing clinical stored
There is deliberately nowhere to store session notes, diagnoses or assessments. Patients are a name, a number, visit history and a short non-clinical note.

Psychologists: common questions
01What exactly does the reminder say?
It greets the client by first name and gives the practice name, the date and time and the practitioner, with “reply 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel” and a link to their booking. It does not mention the reason for the visit.
02Do you store session notes?
No. Showup has no place for session notes, diagnoses or assessments. Keep clinical records in your own system.
03I work alone. Is it still Rs 2,500?
Yes. The price is per clinic, whether you are one practitioner or several: Rs 2,500 a month after a 14-day free trial.
